Our warmest congratulations to Claudia Paparella, 4th year PhD candidate in the program’s Ancient History stream, on receiving the Hal Jackman Foundation Fellowship.
The award, offered by The Archaeology Centre, assists graduate students undertaking archaeological fieldwork. Claudia will participate in the ongoing excavations at Falerii Novi, a Roman city founded in 241 BCE. There, she will continue to research language transformation and Romanization to explore the social, cultural, and economic changes occurring within Italian societies.
