Claudia Paparella, a third-year PhD student in the Ancient History stream, was recently the subject of an article on the Faculty of Arts & Science’s website.
The article, written by Sean McNeely, details Claudia’s PhD project on the role of language in the making of Roman Italy. Supported by the department’s Norwood Traveling Fellowship, which provides financial assistance to junior faculty and senior doctoral students to conduct research abroad, Claudia spoke to A&S News from L’Aquila, a city in central Italy.
