Coverage of Ancient Food Day, organized by CLASSU, the Department's undergraduate student union, continues with another article spotlighting the unique feast. The most recent iteration, held on Friday, January 19th in the Great Hall of the Lillian Massey Building, was the fourth edition of the biannual event. Last year’s installment in September also received a write-up in A&S News.
Sean McNeely of A&S News spoke with CLASSU President Teodora Mladin and Senators Izzy Friesen, Madeleine Andrasic and Tessa Delaney-Girotti about the conceptual basis of the event, and the laborious process involved in bring ancient dishes to the table, from translating the recipes to garnishing the enkrides.
