$5000 per annum for four years for outstanding PhD students from groups traditionally underrepresented in Classics.
Purpose and eligibility
This fellowship is designed to aid in the recruitment and retention of outstanding PhD students from groups traditionally underrepresented in Classics (including, but not limited to, racialized students, LGBTQ2+, students with disabilities, economically disadvantaged students, and first generation college students).
Students should indicate their wish to be considered for the fellowship in the statement of research interests in their application to the PhD program. They should also explain in a few sentences in what sense they consider themselves to belong to a group under-represented in the department or the field (e.g. on the basis of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, etc.). Applications will be considered by the Admissions Committee and the successful applicant informed in their letter of admission.
