Bio and Research
Raphael Deutsch completed a BA specializing in Cinema studies with a minor in Political science. He came to Classics after having completed his BA and specifically became interested in late Roman antiquity after having happened to read Edward Gibbon. He is interested in the political and economic transformation of the Roman economy during the Third century AD.
