Graduate Students: Call For Proposals

The Anthropology Graduate Students’ Union (AGSU) at the University of Toronto invites proposals for the 4th annual MEDUSA graduate student colloquium. The colloquium will take place on Thursday, March 16- Friday, March 17, 2017 in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Toronto, St. George campus.

We encourage the submission of high-quality student research on any topic, but especially those that creatively interpret theme of Translation and notions of accessibility, connection, and understanding. Papers are invited from all four fields of anthropology: socio-cultural, linguistic, archaeology and evolutionary anthropology and outside of the discipline.

For individual paper and poster submissions, please submit an abstract of no more than 250 words to agsusymposium@gmail.com by January 10, 2017.
