The Department is pleased to announce that it has recently launched new 1- and 2-year MA programs with a focus on Ancient History. These programs allow qualified students to participate in research seminars in Ancient History while also pursuing MA-level language training in either Ancient Greek or Latin, or both, depending on preparation. These programs also feature a rigorous introduction to historical methods and participation in a bi-weekly collaborative Ancient History seminar. In addition, the Department has also added an Ancient History stream to its Classics PhD program, which now features three tracks, including also Literature and Ancient Philosophy, the latter under the aegis of the Collaborative Program in Ancient and Medieval Philosophy (CPAMP).
Attractive funding packages are available for MA as well as PhD programs. We invite all interested applicants to apply by the deadline of December 15, 2015, by submitting an online admissions application through the School of Graduate Studies.
